Victims of Crime are eligible for up to 22 Free Sessions
NDIS sessions can be funded from Self or Plan Managed
Private sessions start from $120/hr
Face to Face
Some of my clients prefer face to face therapy at my office which is located in the centre of Wollongong at:
Suite 6, 50 Crown Street, Wollongong
Video or Phone Conferencing
This will suit those who can’t make it to the office. Over the last 2 years this has been the main way I’ve delivered therapy. I use Zoom for Video Conferencing or my mobile for phone counselling.
Walk and Talk
Some clients prefer to go for gentle walk and explore nature whilst they talk through their issues and goals. This approach can often help those who are not comfortable talking in an office.
Hello! I’m Fiona
PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor
I am a registered Clinical Counsellor with PACFA having completed my Bachelors Degree of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP).
I’ve had my own unique journey in life and enjoy spending time with my clients to understand theirs. My style of counselling is very much centred on you as a person and the expert of your own life. My role as a therapist is to help you unlock all the answers that dwell inside of you.
My Expertise
Stress, Anxiety, Trauma & Depression
While everyone will feel stressed and anxious at times, each person’s experience will be different. Knowing what makes you stressed and how you respond to different challenges in life will help you better navigate life.
Stress and trauma becomes a problem when it lasts a long time, or if you feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with your situation. When this happens, it is time to take steps to manage your stress to ensure that you are able to function well at work and at home.
I can work with you to identify the source of your stress, anxiety and trauma and develop strategies to better manage it.
Confidence and Self-Esteem
Many people experience low self esteem or low self confidence. Some are only affected in particular situations but for others it can be restricting or debilitating. Fiona can help you understand and change at the way you think about yourself.
Work and Career
Some people feel they need to change direction in their careers. Fiona can help you determine your life goals and further direction in an open and relaxed environment.

My Approach
To assist you on the journey we take together, I provide a safe non-judgmental therapeutic (sacred) environment. I’ve found that no single therapeutic approach is the right one for every person so I use a range of evidence based techniques tailored to the individual. Research has shown that the theory and type of counselling is less important than the professional relationship that forms between a client and a therapist, hence I see this as the foundation for achieving your counselling goals.
As we work together, I will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique triggers, helping to empower and assist you with bringing your true and authentic self into all aspects of your life.
I look forward to welcoming you at Sacred Space Counselling.
